huh...

'Couture is not mightier than the sword, tho it can be a whole lot sexier. (Hannah Weiner is the only successful designer -- she specialized in lingerie -- that I've gotten to know personally, but that was before she started seeing words.)'
Is it just me, or does anyone else find this and the latest posts just plain strange?

Yeah, I'm not sure that Ron gets to be a film or a music critic, too. I think that he does too much for unsung poets and poetries (despite his lukewarm response to some of my projects) to be a proper Silliman-basher, but...I find his poetry criticism far more useful than his film criticism.

Probably because I am a closet film-critic. I have been meaning to start writing some stuff about film (besides Film Poems but there is never enough time...

I'm not even questioning his desire to be a critique of all, I just found his reference to Wiener, who is deceased, kind of disgusting... too much info, and it leads me to wonder if it is intended to 'work' the fabric of self-importance and historical poetic placement.
